YouTube Pilot Trevor Jacob Accused of Crashing HIs Plane on Purpose For 'The Views"
Featured 33 minutes ago
The aviation community is not happy with Trevor Jacob, a former Olympic snowboarder turned YouTuber, who uploaded a video on December 24th titled, "I Crashed My Plane."
In the video Trevor takes off and shortly thereafter starts experiencing engine failure, leading him to jump from the plane.
The video is incredibly staged. For one, he's wearing a parachute from the get-go. He also has multiple camera angles set up. And lastly, according to fellow aviators online, he easily could have glided down to the nearest airport, but instead chose to "fake" a stunt for views.
While we can't say for certain if Trevor faked the stunt, we can remind you not to believe everything you see on the internet.
