Yankees’ Ace Wasn’t Feeling the Budweiser
Featured 29 minutes ago
We get it, the Yankees immediately had to fly to Houston after defeating Cleveland. Not a lot of time for celebration.
The New York Yankees are moving onto the ALCS to face the Houston Astros. After defeating the Cleveland Guardians last night in the ALDS, there was very little time to celebrate.
Due to inclement weather, a few of the games were postponed. This gave the Astros extra time to rest, and forced the Yankees to jump on a plane to Houston almost immediately after their win against Cleveland.
In what was arguably the most lame clubhouse celebration in recorded history, Gerrit Cole (who isn't even slated to pitch in game 1 against the Astros) was seen taking a sip of Budweiser. He promptly spit the beer out.
I guess some people just can't handle their booze.
