This Might Be The Most Cursed Burger Ever

Before you ask, no, this isn’t a conspiracy theory, “you vill eat ze bugs” type of thing.

In the African Great Lakes region, specifically countries surrounding Lake Malawi, there’s a delicacy called “kunga cake.” It’s made by grabbing a bunch of midges out of the air (a bug similar to mosquitos), compacting them into cakes, frying them and eating them.

The result is a high protein snack that’s also not very pleasant to look at. One YouTuber tried the dish, and I think his facial expression after chewing it says it all.
