Woman With Fainting Disorder Tries and Fails to Eat a Tasty Treat

It’s like Sisyphus pushing the rock up the hill, only it’s a donut and the hill is your mouth.

This woman has what’s called cataplexy, a condition in which your body responds to things like laughter, positive surprises and jokes by conking out for a second. It’s pretty rare, and we don’t know exactly what causes it, but it can be a major annoyance for those who have it.

Case in point: This woman is simply trying to eat a donut, but by the time it gets to her mouth, she’s so happy to have it that she passes out. Thankfully, she’s finding humor in the situation, but my goodness does it look frustrating.
