If you know your car is about to get towed, there’s a very short window in which you can do something about it.

Basically, as we’ve covered before, tow-truck drivers aren’t allowed to move cars with people in them. This means that, if you manage to get to your car before the tow truck does, there’s a small but extant chance that you can get away with your vehicle.

The trick is, you’ve gotta get to your car before the tow truck has you hooked up or boxed in. This woman didn’t internalize this portion of the advice, and so, she had to say goodbye to the functionality of her car.
