Woman Gets MRI, Accidentally Requests Industrial Noise Music

When you get an MRI, they will sometimes ask you if there’s any music that you’d like them to play. In this case, the woman requested music from everyone’s favorite pop star of the moment, Chappell Roan. “Sure thing,” the attendant said — and proceeded to play her music straight from hell.

Instead of hearing “Chappell Roan,” someone at the office mistakenly began playing music by a person named Chaperone. Well, not so much “music” as it is “noise,” as Chaperone is an experimental artist who creates soundscapes like these.

Lucky him, he’s actually managed to gain a few fans out of this. I guess there’s at least *some* people in the middle of the Chappell Roan/Merzbow Venn diagram.
