As we all learned while watching Tiger King, some people like to keep strange animals as pets. And in most states, the government doesn’t really have a problem with it. Listen, if you want to ruin your life trying to raise a rhino in the suburbs, that’s your right as an American, and in most cases, the government isn’t going to step in until your beast inevitably kills someone.

That brings us to this bizarre clip, where someone’s privately-owned emu got loose, only to be captured and returned to its owner by a group of Amish women.
