No matter what's going on in the world, we can always count on brands to find a way to focus the attention on them and try to convince us to keep buying crap from them, because that's what's really important.
We've saw some embarrassing car commercials when coronavirus was still at the top of the news cycle, and ones trying to tap into the Black Lives Matter protests aren't any better.
Especially with something as highly charged as the ongoing protests, brands would do themselves a favor to take a back seat this time and just wait to exploit the next national tragedy with their ad budgets.
Or maybe we actually need these commercials right now. Who knows.
