What Was Up With the Chinese Swimming Team’s Butt Slapping?

The Olympics are over, and I’m sure going to miss them. Unlike Tokyo’s Olympics, which seemed to come and go with no real fanfare, this year’s Olympics has been a pretty good time. The pole-vaulter with the big dick, the Australian breakdancing lady — a whole cast of characters played before us, and it’s going to be sad saying goodbye.

But before we go, we just have one question: What was going on with the butt slapping on the Chinese swim team?

As this video shows, the coach for the Chinese swim team appeared to go one-by-one, slapping each competitor in the butt. They don’t seem too thrilled about it, but they scored gold, so maybe that coach just knows something we don’t.
