Watching an Ostrich Eat a Whole Carrot Feels Illegal
Braden Bjella Published 08/20/2024
According to a quick Google search, ostriches tend to eat “mice, rats, snakes, lizards, grasshoppers, crickets and moths” when they’re in the wild. However, in general, they are omnivores that will eat everything from small mammals to, in this case, a carrot. Whole.
Why this man opted to feed the ostrich a whole carrot, I will never know, but the video of it is oddly uncomfortable to watch. The bird barely bites the vegetarian glizzy, letting it slide down its massive throat while us weirdos watch.
