Watch a Man Drop a Shopping Cart on a Power Line

If you think about it, it’s pretty crazy that the majority of our power is being carried by wires that are just, you know, hanging out. It seems like a major fire risk, and yet, these things are able to carry electricity to our houses largely without incident, barring the occasional dumbass bird.

Every once in a while, someone will get the bright idea to pull a stunt using power lines. This is almost always a bad idea, as numerous videos show. In this case, a guy decided to drop a metal shopping cart onto the lines and, well, take a look.
