Watch a Dude Harass Alligators With a Big Shovel

Throughout much of the southwestern U.S., alligators are a pest. They’ve rocketed straight out of the Mesozoic Era and into our backyards, threatening to eat our kids while intimidating us with their large jaws and sharp teeth.

Some have attempted to solve the alligator problem by eating them. Others have begun harassment campaigns against them, as this man appears to be doing with his massive shovel.

I wouldn’t be too worried about him bonking them on the head — I’m pretty sure they’re strong enough to take it.
