US Couple Narrowly Avoids Machete Wielding Bandits in Kenya

Picture this, you're driving down the road when you come across what looks like a pack of bandits staging a heist. Do you one, ask them what's going on? Or two, do you maneuver your way out of there? Well, this situation wasn't just a hypothetical one for Bryant Swenson and his wife Lauren. It was a reality.
A few months after moving to Kenya from Utah to open a Crossfit gym, Bryant and Lauren found themselves behind the wheel, looking down a group of machete-weidling robbers. And in a flash of brilliance, they managed to high tail it out of danger before anything serious happened.
Their first instincts were to reverse, as many of us would do, but after realizing the only way out of danger was through it, they speed forward and barreled through their attacker's blockade.
We can speculate all we want about how we'd act in a moment like this, but the only way to know for sure, it to live it.
