Traffic Cop Tries to Stop Car, Goes for a Ride on the Hood Instead

Traffic cops are at an inherent disadvantage when they’re on foot.

Why? Well, if they want to stop someone, they have to rely on the idea that the person in question will actually stop — otherwise, they really can’t do anything about it besides yell at them.

That is, or so I thought. This traffic cop decided on a different method. Rather than let the perps drive away, he was going to get on the hood of their car, hopefully encouraging them to slow down their vehicle and listen to whatever he has to say.

As you can see from the video, this didn’t work.
