Tow Trucks Fight Over Who Gets to Tow a Car

The tow-truck game isn’t the most ethical in the world.

I understand that, if someone parks somewhere illegally, there needs to be someone with the job of removing them from that spot. Still, the practices of some tow-truck companies are questionable at best. They’re known to charge insane fees for tows and storage, and in some cases, even striking deals with owners of stores and parking lots to maximize the money they make from towing.

This might explain why we’ve seen some pretty bizarre and possibly criminal behavior from tow trucks in the past. Now, we have a first: several tow trucks getting into a fight to see who gets the luxury and payment of towing a crashed car.
