TikTokers Now Think Gypsy Rose Was Faking It

If you don’t remember the Gypsy Rose Blanchard case, the long and short of it is that this girl’s mom pretended she had a range of illnesses and demanded she get treatment for them. This “treatment” included feeding her through a tube, making her take various medications, and requiring her to use a wheelchair. Eventually, Gypsy Rose got fed up with the treatment, killed her mom, went to jail, and then got out and started bragging about her partner’s pipe game.

But what if she was faking it? Sure, there’s no concrete evidence that she *was* faking it (and the fact that she’s now doing fine without any of this treatment would seem to indicate that it wasn’t needed in the first place)—but when has a lack of evidence ever stopped TikTok from baselessly speculating about things?

According to some TikTok users, Dee Dee Blanchard may have been totally justified in what she did to Gypsy Rose, though a few will admit that she may have gone overboard with her treatment. I guess that’s one way to put it.
