Have we learned nothing?

One of the main fears about artificial intelligence is that it will grow too smart, learn it doesn’t need us and then decide that the best course of action is to kill us. This has been a popular fear for as long as people have conceptualized A.I. And yet, we keep putting A.I. in positions where it could genuinely harm us.

This guy appears to have hooked up a gun to ChatGPT. While it’s unclear how or, quite honestly, *why* he’s doing this, I can’t say I’m thrilled about the potential reality such technology reveals.
