The Season of the Flood Continues: Geyser Erupts in Montreal Parking Lot
Floods seem to be getting more spiteful. While floods of yore would bury a whole town underwater, there’s been a few too many cases of targeted floods in recent memory for comfort. Take, for example, the water main that burst on a street and doused some woman’s house, or the man who had his new home office ruined when a flood burst through the window.
Now, the beautiful city of Montreal is all aflutter after a water main burst near the Jacques Cartier Bridge. The flood apparently led to power loss and a boil-water advisory — and some pretty unbelievable imagery.
Breaking News: A significant water main rupture has occurred at the intersection of De Lorimier Ave and Sainte-Catherine E. Street in Montreal, causing severe flooding. Emergency services are on the scene, and the public is urged to avoid the area for their safety. pic.twitter.com/0KN5drZZL5
