The ‘Mountain of Hell’ Bike Race Looks Like, Well, Hell

Cyclists are a different breed. Whether they’re biking into the wind, almost getting killed by traffic or just going for a casual 50-kilometer ride, the two-wheeled among us crave death and danger more than their tight T-shirts would initially let on.
Case in point: the “Mountain of Hell” bike race. The website rightfully describes the journey as “a hellish mountain bike descent on a crazy course,” which includes incredible drops like the one seen in this video. Count me out.
The Mountain of Hell is (an actually hellish) mountain bike descent on a crazy course held in Les 2 Alpes, France.

The course is 15.5 miles long with a vertical drop of about 7,800 feet from beginning to finish line.
