A woman has gone viral for her interesting skincare routine which involves a dirty, rotten banana peel and a little bit of friction. TikTokker alaynaryan1979 posted a video recently rubbing a banana peel on her face as a substitute for botox.
According to Dr. Mona Mislankar a board-certified dermatologist based in Ohio, there are typically no negative effects caused from the banana peel. Unless of course, you are truly allergic to the fruit. However, botox obviously works at a muscular level which the banana peel cannot replicate.
