The Best Spills and Falls from the North American Wife Carrying Championship

This year saw another iteration of a great American tradition: the Wife Carrying Championship.

The annual event has people running through obstacle courses with their wives on their backs, all in the hopes that they’ll be able to complete the courses the fastest and win “the wife’s weight in Goose Island Oktoberfest beer” and “five times her weight in cash,” per the competition’s website.
