You think she stuck a nerve? A Vermilion Parish teacher named Deyshia Hargrave was escorted out of the room and later arrested for questioning why the superintendent received a raise while the teachers have gone without for years. The action doesn't happen until about the middle way mark, so if you want to get to the goods just skip ahead.
There is no way to cut it without coming to the conclusion that those in charge of the school district think their work is worth more than the teachers they employ. But to arrest a teacher simply for speaking out? Now that doesn't sit right with us!
