Surfer Breaks World Record By Riding 108-Foot Wave

Experts are still confirming the height of the wave but, I mean, look at it.
A California surfer may have just broken the world record for the highest wave ever surfed. According to the New York Post, Alessandro “Alo” Slebir, 23, rode a 108-foot wave at Mavericks last week, which is significantly higher than the previous record of around 86 feet.
Even if this isn’t actually a world record (everyone seems to believe it is, they’re just not sure about the exact height), the video of him doing it is pretty insane to watch. Take a look for yourself:
