Superintendent Charged With DWI After Crowd Surfing High School Football Game

Jason Thomson, 48, Superintendent of the Baldwinsville School District, was caught having a little too much fun at the Baker High School football game on Friday night. A TikTok of him crowd-surfing on a bunch of students was posted and quickly went viral. Purportedly, students suspected the superintendent had been drinking and notified the police.

Thomson’s night out came to a premature end on his ride home after the game. He was pulled over for reckless driving and breathalyzed. Reportedly, the soused super’s BAC measured over 0.08%, twice the legal limit. He was arrested on the spot and, according to news source localsyr.com, slapped with several charges, including driving under the influence, driving without a license plate, and failing to use a turn signal. According to syracuse.com, he’s set to appear in court on October 26th. On the evening of October 10th, the Baldwinsville Board of Education convened to discuss the status of his employment. The fate of his superintendent-ship has yet to be made public.

Though Thomson’s stint was brief, you can relive the revelry with him, forever immortalized in TikTok form.
