Spaniards Pelt Their King with Mud After Major Flood
Down with the monarchy!
Spain recently experienced major flooding in the city of Valencia. Effectively, the city got a year’s worth of rain in a single day, resulting in over 200 deaths and major infrastructure damage that will cause issues in the city for years to come.
After it was all said and done, the King and his crew decided to venture on over to the city. Locals decided to give them a warm welcome — by which I mean they pelted all of their cars with mud.
SPAIN - Locals aren’t happy that one of the only cleared roads, was closed for a Royal visit.

The Royals were pelted with mud & the PM evacuated.
Absolute rage from people who feel abandoned & fury that the PM thought a royal walk about would fix it.

You're watching the people of Valencia pelting King Felipe with mud today as he and his entourage parade through the city's streets. This is how we do it comrades. May the rotting flesh of Kings feed the earth.pic.twitter.com/nY8aIdAXMx
