Snowboarder Zeb Powell Defies Gravity, Physics, and Logic with One Trick
zachnading Published 02/07/2022
Move over Beijing Olympics. Zeb Powell is here and he's changing the sport of snowboarding as we speak.
The 21-year-old North Carolina native, is currently tearing it up at the 2022 Aspen X games. In a clip which has now gone viral, Powell asks for a 'prop' during one of his runs. In the video, friend and fellow snowboarder Luke Winkelmann sets up his board (and body) as a makeshift ramp.
What happens next just defies physics.
Like something out of 'SSX Tricky', Powell backflips off the snowboard 'ramp' in one of the most wicked runs we've ever seen. The dude is clearly a wizard, as he defies gravity and all other laws of nature.
The Red Bull sponsored snowboarder says he loves being 'smooth and creative.' Judging by this video, it's safe to say he's well on his way. Pardon me while I take break from men's olympic curling to watch Zeb Powell literally throw his body down a hill.
