Slackliners Walk Between Two Hot Air Balloons in Terrifying Stunt
Braden Bjella Published 11/15/2024
It’s impressive. Stupid, but impressive.
Slacklining is a sport where you walk from one side of a rope to another. You can also bounce around on it, if you want. Listen, I don’t quite get it — all I know is that it’s like tightrope walking, except the rope is loose and white people with dreadlocks like doing it in the park.
These two German guys are pretty good at slacklining. They’re so good, in fact, that they decided to string a slackline across two hot air balloons and fly them up to 8,200 feet. They managed to set a world record — as well as scare the pants off anyone watching who has a fear of heights.
