Skier Causes Domino of Crashes after Letting Go of the Tow Rope
Peter Rapine Published 01/06/2023
You know ski season is here because the timeline is full of first-timers sliding down the mountain.
For the uninitiated, the ropes these skiers are holding onto are called tow ropes and are typically used for smaller beginner slopes. There is a circle at the base of the rope that you sling under your arm or between your legs that pulls you up the hill. The trick is to not let go, as you will go tumbling backward.
Which is exactly what happened to this snowboarder, who then crashed into the person behind them, and them into the person behind them, and so on.
We doubt anyone was seriously injured so in this case it's okay to laugh at the Jerrys.
