Shoutout to This Dad, Who Gives Kids 2L Bottles of Soda for Halloween Every Year

When you were growing up, the best house on the block during Halloween was the one that gave out full-size candy bars. What compelled these incredible people to do this? Who’s to say? But as a child wandering the streets in the world’s worst Batman costume, a full-size Twix bar can do wonders to replace the pain you felt at the house that gave you raisins.

As we get older and become the people who actually give out the candy, the idea of spending your money to hand out full-size candy bars isn’t as tantalizing as it once was. You expect me to drop $1.50 on each of these kids? No way — they’re going to eat the same stale Crunch bars I was handing out last year!

This dad, however, is keeping the dream alive. How? By giving everyone who comes by a full two-liter bottle of soda.
