People say the sting causes searing pain that makes your limbs freeze up, and the effects can last for six hours. So if anyone offers to let you pet their murder hornet this summer, it's probably best to decline.
While these guys stinging themselves on purpose seem like total idiots, they provide the valuable service of giving us something entertaining to watch for a few minutes.
Now we just gotta find out whether the murder hornet venom can be turned into a drug. Then the party can really get started.
