Rural Athletes Don’t Need Equipment to Do Sick Flips

The Olympics are limited by one major factor: to participate, you’ve gotta have a lot of money. Training, facilities to practice your sport, proper nutrition — all of these things take time and, crucially, boatloads of money. This is why so many athletes entering the games are sponsored by their governments, or why some athletes choose to do deals with cheese manufacturers.

This also unfortunately means that many athletes without the proper means are left with nowhere to show off their skills. However, that doesn’t stop them from trying. This video shows exactly how they do that: by repurposing garbage into a full-on gymnastics course.
