Runner Trains His Girlfriend’s Dachshund to Run 6 Minute Mile

Joey Bags is a talented runner, who has competed in professional track events, and clocked a sub 4 minute mile time. But according to him, he's not even the fastest runner in his family. That honor falls to his girlfriend's dachshund, Dill.

"I’m serious when I say this dog’s more talented than me," he captioned a TikTok video of the pair of them running together. "Dill is a champion no doubt."

Joey has started a series called, "Training my girlfriend's dachshund to run under a 6 minute mile," and claims that Dill's personal best is a 6:07. Doesn't seem like he has far to go to accomplish the goal.

"Sure bud, we know who really has speed here," hillary.gd commented.

Joey claims that Dill racks up about 5 miles a week, but with such little legs, that might just be enough to bring those times down. 

"Sub-4 wiener dog incoming," Daniel Whitaker joked.
