I’m both angry and jealous.

Rich people live different lives from the rest of us. The things we worry about — rent, food, healthcare — barely cross their mind, and when they do, their main thoughts seem to be about how they can make those things more expensive for the rest of us.

One way in which the lives of rich people differs from us is that they really don’t give a shit about the law. This isn’t only because they can afford good lawyers, but because everything that comes with a fine is effectively legal to them. It’s why Jeff Bezos was happy to rack up over $16k in parking tickets.

In this video, a rich dude is asked why he has so many parking tickets, and his explanation is simple: He can afford to pay them, so why would he park legally?

Honestly, we should just do what Finland does and adjust tickets based on income.
