An excerpt from the HBO documentary the "Defiant Ones", which shows how Eminem and Dr. Dre met and would later become one of the greatest duos of all time.
Jimmy Lovine, Dr. Dre's partner in crime, introduced him to a tape of an up-and-coming Detroit rapper who was making a name for himself absolutely destroying people in rap battles.
Jimmy Lovine described Eminem as a "white rapper who sounds like his pants are on fire. He's one pissed-off white guy."
Dr. Dre remembered: “In my entire career in the music industry, I have never found anything from a demo tape or a CD. When Jimmy played this, I said, ‘Find him. Now.'”
