Philly TV Station Puts Up Cardboard Cutout of Newscaster to ‘See What Would Happen.’ People Immediately Began Humping It
Philadelphia recently debuted its iteration of The Portal, which allows people in the city to interact with others across the world.
The choice of Philly came as a surprise to some as, let’s be honest, the city doesn’t necessarily have the best reputation. Yes, it’s a lovely place full of, you know, some nice people (I’m sure), but the City of Brotherly Love doesn’t exactly have the best behavioral track record.
For example, who could forget the warm welcome their football fans gave the Minnesota Vikings back in 2018? Or the delightful hitchhiking robot that was beheaded upon its entry into the city?
Seeing this negative press, one news station decided to test out just how compassionate the city was by placing a cardboard cutout of one of their female newscasters on a random street. People, of course, immediately began getting freaky with it.
