People Are Now Looting Restaurants for Their Eggs

Why pay for a couple dozen when you can steal ‘em?

If you haven’t noticed, eggs have gotten way too goddamn expensive in recent months. This has led to all sorts of problems, including a hilarious increase in egg-related crime.

First, there was the theft of 100,000 eggs from a warehouse in Pennsylvania. Now, it seems that even small-time egg holders aren’t immune, as there are reports of egg-focused robberies in restaurants.

For example, this Seattle restaurant reported that someone broke in and stole over 500 eggs before the thief spotted the restaurant owner and, I’m sorry for this, cracked under pressure and left.
