Pangolins Look Weird as Hell

And I’m not sure if I like ‘em!
In the early days of COVID, there were a few theories about where the virus came from. First, there was the “bat” theory — that someone got bit by a bat, or maybe ate a bat, and as a result, you had to wear a mask at the grocery store.
Then, there was a wholly implausible theory involving pangolins. This was the first time many of us heard of, and became confused by, this animal.
For those who are unaware, a “pangolin” is an animal that’s sometimes referred to as, and I’m being serious here, a “scaly anteater.” They’re native to Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, and, well, they’re just pretty weird-looking.
Don’t believe me? Take a look for yourself.
