Given the ease with which this stunt can be performed, it’s no surprise that people across the internet have filmed themselves doing it since the early days of video sharing. Of course, as these videos gain steam, so too does the need to be bigger and bolder with your attempt.

This guy tried to channel the explosion through a tube directly into his mouth. However, he had a few issues. First, he used regular Pepsi instead of diet. Second, he didn’t fully prepare for the explosion. Third, and most crucially, he stood on an unstable chair, leading to this:
