Evander Kane is in stable condition after being cut by a skate during last night's Oilers vs. Lightning game in Tampa Bay.
The frightening accident took place early in the second period, when Kane was knocked to the ice. Tampa Bay Lightning winger Pat Maroon skated toward the puck and caught Kane's wrist.
Kane rushed off the ice and was immediately transported to the hospital. Just a reminder that these guys are warriors and hockey is a still a dangerous sport. Kane tweeted this morning that he was in stable condition.
