The only reason this unfounded news report is getting traction is because Donald Trump watched it and tweeted in defense of it.
The argument is that the 75 year-old protester, Martin Gugino, who was pushed down by Buffalo, NY police officers and started bleeding from his ears, was attempting to hack the cops' communication equipment with a scanner device.
The "proof" in the video is that he's seen waving his phone at the officers, and the "reporters" claim the phone is actually a covert communications scanning device.
Just where they got any of this information from is unknown. It is also unknown whether the people working at that news station have any brain cells left.
