Mother Stork Discards Her Weakest Baby Proving Only the Strong Survive

This might be a tough pill to swallow, but animals will do whatever it takes to survive. So when a mother stork feels that one of her babies is weak, and is bringing down the others, well there's only one option.
This footage is proof that 'survival of the fittest' is a very real thing. It's pretty rare that this situation is ever caught on camera, but here we are. The best way to look at it is, that baby is kind of a sacrifice.
Polar bears are known to do the same thing. Mothers will leave their weaker cubs behind, to give their other children (and themselves) a fighting chance at survival. That's the circle of life in a nutshell.
