There are a few songs that are pretty standard to learn on guitar. When you’re just starting out, “Smoke on the Water” and “Wonderwall.” From there, you might kick it up to something like “Stairway to Heaven,” or even try to stumble your way through the opening riff of “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” Once you’ve got the hang of it, though, you probably want to graduate to a song that takes a little bit more work — for example, Metallica’s “Master of Puppets.”
