Man Intentionally Blows Up His Whole House

Andrew McCubin, 57, was recently found to have intentionally made his house explode.

A house fire is some people’s greatest fear. And why wouldn’t it be? The idea is terrifying — your entire world, engulfed in flames in just a matter of minutes.

But for some people, blowing up all your shit is the perfect exit strategy. Such was the case with the U.K.’s Andrew McCubin, who orchestrated a whole plan to blow up his house with him inside of it.

However, McCubin didn’t plan everything too well, and while his house *did* blow up, he survived — and damaged a lot of shit in the process.

Now, he’s been found guilty of arson, though his sentencing is still being considered. Watch the video of the explosion for yourself:
