When the 10 million dollar Martin Luther King Jr. statue was unveiled in Boston on January 13th, the internet couldn't help but think it looked like something else. We covered it, as did many other outlets, and while nobody can decide if it looks more like a penis or cunnalingus, everyone can agree it looks nothing like the embrace between Martin Luther King and his wife Coretta Scott king that it's based upon. Stand in host for the Daily Show Leslie Jones agrees.
"Has anyone in here ever been eaten out?" She asks a laughing audience. Jones goes on to praise the meaning behind the statue, and Martin Luther King for his invaluable contributions to the civil rights movement, but she acknowledges its questionable design.
She also ponders what people might think of the statue in the future. "In time, we will see this statue for what it truly is... Martin Luther King going down on his wife."
