Brian Baumgartner talks to Rich Eisen about his epic chili scene in 'The Office' and how it came to fruition.
The actor sat down on the Rich Eisen Show to talk football, as well as his character Kevin from 'The Office.' And boy he did not dissapoint.
If you're not an Office fan, that's okay. The scene in question is a cold open, that really has die hard fans in their feels. Kevin stays up all night making his world famous chili, only to spill it once he arrives at the office. Brian's performance alone is enough to have viewers spitting out their coffee with laughter.
The actor tells Rich Eisen that even though the set decorator had multiple carpets, they got the shot in one take. He also spills (see what I did there) that the pot carrying the chili had styrofoam in the bottom. This allowed for the container to become top-heavy and spill much easier. That's showbiz, baby.
