Just Stop Oil Protesters Tackled in Dinosaur Exhibit
Just Stop Oil protestors have struck again, this time at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum's Dippy the Diplodocus display in Coventry, England.
The popular activist group has been in the news quite a bit recently with protests including gluing themselves to a tanker full of cooking oil and vandalizing Van Gogh paintings. This most recent stunt involved two activists jumping over the barrier to a dinosaur display. In regards to climate change, one of the protestors later stated, "The dinosaurs had no choice, we do."
According to their mission statement, Just Stop Oil is a "nonviolent civil resistance group demanding the UK Government stop licensing all new oil, gas, and coal projects." Be that as it may, both activists were arrested on the spot.
