Johnny Depp Tells the Court Why He's Suing Amber Heard
Featured 11 minutes ago
Depp, who's suing ex-partner Amber Heard in a jumbo-sized $50 million dollar defamation suit, took to the witness stand to say exactly why. Looking somewhat tired and sullen, Depp is surprisingly calm for someone at the tail-end of a four-year train-wreck of a relationship coming to a fiery in-court conclusion.
"My goal is the truth" Depp says, speaking to open court. He recounts Heard's notorious 2018 piece in which she claims to be a victim of domestic abuse, which was widely interpreted to be at the hands of Depp, and the damage it caused him, his brand and his career. "It became a quote-unquote fact."
The lawsuit has thus far covered many of the wild and WTF elements of the Depp-Heard saga, from Depp's severed finger to Heard taking a s**t, while uncovering many new pieces of drama from alleged threesomes with Elon Musk and some damning footage of Heard and James Franco steaming up an elevator.
