Influencers Are Trying to Drown Themselves to Learn to ‘Be Calm in Stressful Environments’

Being calm in difficult times is a necessity. So is breathing.
However, these guys seem to be focusing on the former over the latter. While this particular exercise doesn’t appear to have a name (besides “the reason dad’s not around anymore”), it’s pretty straightforward: tie your feet and hands together, then bob up and down in the pool.
The reason for this, the people who do it claim, is to learn to control one’s emotions so that they don’t panic. In the real world, you can do this with therapy and have a near-zero risk of your lungs filling with water while it happens. But, if you want your final words to be “I’m a real man!” as you sink to the bottom of a high school swimming pool, be my guest.
