How the Tables Have Turned: French Woman Really Can’t Pronounce English Words and That Makes Her Mad

France is a lovely place. It’s just a shame it’s filled with the French.

I’m only joking, of course. Travel around France (except Paris) and you’ll be sure to meet a lot of nice people. One thing that *is* true about France, however, is that they’re incredibly protective of their language and, crucially, their pronunciation.

This is a bold choice, as their pronunciation is ridiculous. Not only does their accent sound like they’ve got a mouth full of buttery snails, but when they try to pronounce things our way — I dare say, the right way — they really can’t do it, as this woman deftly shows.
