Hockey Players Stunned After Dude Plays the National Anthem on Congas

Oh say, can you see? *brappa-rappa-pa-pa!*

There have been many renditions of the National Anthem over the years. Some are good, many are bad and many are, let’s just say, “ill-advised.”

For example, this is Bruce Gust, a man who describes himself as “spiritually ripped, physically fit, fully equipped” (I don’t know what it means, either). On his website, he advertises “Muscular Christianity,” “Loose Cannon Fitness” and… his drum playing.

Odd mix there, Bruce.

While I don’t know how successful his Muscular Christianity career (?) is, his drumming career appears to be doing quite well. In fact, he recently performed the National Anthem at an Anaheim Ducks-Nashville Predators game, accompanying his voice with a little performance on the congas.

How did it go? Well, one of the players said that the team struggled to keep it together afterwards, but that aside, I think it went alright.
